"Food From Our Countries"

Argentina/ R. Sigalus ~ 2008

"...on the last day I learned that our work in the community has inspired some of the young teenage guys to write a play about the problems in their barrio - drugs, alcohol, stealing and discuss solutions to these problems. We inspired them to make changes with in their own lives and neighborhood. It was so exciting to hear and see."

Kate Balzer / Argentina - 2005

The best part was that all the volunteers were from different countries. While we were there we had an organized and solid work schedule which involved a kitchen team for all meals, a cleaning team, 8 am wake up, breakfast, work at nine, paint, lunch at one, rest until three, paint until six, shower and free time, dinner at eight thirty. On most days after dinner we had some sort of presentation or activity which was quite nice.  Ruth Sigalus / Argentina ~ 2008
