Important Information for Residents of Canada
VFP and its Canadian partner organization, Chantiers jeunesse, have recently made the following changes to policies concerning sending residents of Canada overseas on international voluntary service projects:
1. If you live in Canada, are between the ages of 18 - 30, and wish to volunteer in North America**, Europe or Asia, please contact Chantiers jeunesse:
**UNLESS you're interested in volunteering in Haiti - in which case you can volunteer through VFP! Learn more about VFP programs in Haiti
2. All other Canadian residents may still volunteer through VFP! That is, if you are of any age interested in traveling to Haiti, South America or Africa OR are younger than 18 or older than 30 and want to travel anywhere!
If you have any questions about whether you should be working with VFP or Chantiers jeunesse, please call us at 802-540-3060 and we'll point you in the right direction!
