Registration Form

In order to register for a project/s, please pay for your project registration online and then do one of the following

1. Download the Registration Form and complete and then, email as an attached file to ( vfp@vfp.org), fax (802-259-2922) or send by surface mail(Volunteers for Peace, 1034 Tiffany Road, Belmont, VT 05730 USA).

2. Copy & paste the form below into any word processor, setting the font to 10 or 12 point and margins to 1" all around. Email the form to us at vfp@vfp.org as an attached file or fax the completed form to our dedicated fax line - 802-259-2922.

Completing the Registration Form

Placement is not guaranteed since most projects will not accept more than two American volunteers, reserving the remaining spaces for other nationalities in an effort to maintain intercultural diversity, which is a key feature of the projects. We prefer that you give us several additional choices of projects that you are willing to accept. We will always try to place you in your first choice, but if that is not possible, we will try your second or third options if provided on your form. For this reason, you should never buy a plane ticket before being officially accepted to a project. We will try to place you in any project which you have selected, in order of your preference, so please don't list something you don't really want!

• When filling in your Registration Form manually , please PRINT legibly, using BLACK INK (blue ink does not show up well when we fax it abroad). Please keep in mind that your form will be read by people who's native language is not English, so be very clear. If you have questions about how to fill out the registration form please call and ask us. It is very helpful to include a brief statement of motivation, listing any special skills you have that are relevant to the project.

• The registration form requests both your present address and your emergency/ parent's address. Students: be sure to give us an address/phone where you can be reached between the end of school and your departure date! We must be able to contact you easily up until your departure. Attach a separate sheet if you need to clarify your contact info.

VFP's CANCELLATION POLICY

We strongly discourage canceling or changing your project selection/s! Please be sure that you will be able to participate before you register. VFP has a VERY strict cancellation policy, NO REFUNDS are given if you cancel a project that you have selected…NO MATTER WHAT! NO EXCEPTIONS!  However, IF VFP is unable to place you in a project of your choice, we will refund your registration fee in full! When you select a project, you are making a commitment to it! Cancellations and/or changes in your selection/s cause logistical complications for both VFP and our partners abroad.

There is no need to sign this form if you have paid online and will be sending this registration form to VFP via email. We consider your credit card authorization your signature.

PAYMENT

We encourage you to pay your registration fee online. After paying online, all you need to do is email VFP your completed registration form as an attached file or fax it to us.

IF you elect to pay when submitting your form by fax or by surface mail, please complete the remainder of the form below:

My signature certifies that I authorize VFP  to debit my Mastercard, Visa  or American Express card as indicated below. I understand that if I am not a current member, that VFP will add the required membership fee of $30 to my registration fee/s. If the volunteer being placed is under age 18, VFP will charge $500 minimum per program placement. Any XTRA FEES mentioned in the project header are always payable in cash directly to our partners on arrival at the project and should not be including on this payment page.

Other Forms of Payment:

We accept payment also by personal or bank check, money order or traveler's checks. If not paying by credit card,  you must enclose the VFP Registration Fee, in US FUNDS, for the total number of any consecutive camps that you are registering for.  We will promptly refund any excess payment after completion of your placement/s.
