Each year VFP organizes 40-60 projects in the US where volunteers give their time to help local non-profit organizations, parks and recreation departments, and community groups. In 2010 volunteers participating in our US projects donated over 23,000 hours of service!
Americans and residents of the US are welcome to join our domestic projects and will find it is an affordable way to have an international experience. The registration fee is $350 per project and usually there are volunteers from at least 4 countries in each program. Volunteers will find a wide variety of service projects, most lasting 2-3 weeks. VFP was founded in 1982 and since then has exchanged over 30,000 volunteers worldwide!
