way with the other persons and with the environment, reaching all the nature

monographics of the American Indians, making up of the content about topics of
genders, workshops for the third age, making up the posters of the cultural

children activities, in the circus workshops,

with the Natural Park of Cap de Creus the work consists of monitoring the state
of the coastal fauna, as well as recovering of old rural paths in the area.

environment respect - To put mark the routes of prehistoric heritage (dolmen)

Líthica is an
association that has developed an ambitious project to restore the
"marés"; (natural quarries).
Menorca is an island, which still preserves a great part of its natural
areas and traditions. Their objectives are recovering the historic and cultural
heritage and executing conservation projects and spreading the biodiversity in
Menorca, from a non lucrative organization. W: Garden work in the ancient
"canteras"; quarries, in the nursery maintainingplants and pots; in
the botanic garden doing maintenance, cleaning and loping torestore the paths. Landscaping an area
near a new stairs stone which will be sculpted as well. Emptying debris and
cleaning a little quarry which will be become a viewpoint. S: previous years
raise the interest to the beauty of the stone of ecological tradition. So we
will make new trips into places of cultural and archaeological interest and to
virgin beaches. There is a possibility of participating to tai-chi lessons, sculpture
with marés and free entrance at any activity organized by Lithica. A: In a

the region of La Rioja, in order to protect and

participants in this
project develop several activities, such as:

the cemetery), and
development of other cultural activities. This
organization
collaborates with a local agriculture cooperative, which
means that people will
also work in the maintenance of the traditional

mountains and in the ruins of a chapel. Archeological and
environmental

WORK: The theme of the
work camp is to refurbish the dry-stone path in accordance with the traditional
technique. The idea is to restore its original aspect and at the same time to
conserve its basic function that is to pass satisfactorily the rain water.
Moreover, the purpose of the camp is to create awareness of the recovery of
this historical heritage and promote its importance. Another purpose is to
establish relations between the Catalan youth of la Fatarella, the local
population in general and the volunteers. ACCOMODATION: In the local school of
la Fatarella. There will be mattresses but the volunteers will bring a sleeping bag. Showers at the public
swimming pool. Dinner is provided by (ecological house) and breakfast and lunch

The Day care Center
Sínia is a public day center managed by a non lucrative cooperative. It offers
cultural activities, individual and group therapist to people affected by
disabilities: palsy cerebral and other problems associated to it. The main goal
of the Day Care Center Sínia is to improve the life quality of the people in
order to developed their own potentialities and their social insertion. Sínia
had realized many activities and projects as: theatre, documentary, electronic
magazine, awareness campaign at secondary schools and primary schools.W:

Province of Alicante. W: The main goals of the workcamp Banys de la Reina are
the adequacy of the area of the archaeological site which constitutes a key
point to know the settlement and the economic activities on the coast of
Alicante. It is located in an area of the littoral situated in the inner city
of Calp and its port, at the foot of Ifach.The estimated extension of the place
is 5,000 square metres, of which around 25% have been excavated. All the area
is settled on a formation of ´fossil dune´ which appears on the surface at many
points, constituting a kind of rock easy to work with as it is soft, that is
the reason why the place has been a stone quarry for centuries. Banys de la
Reina is a Roman archaeological site which dates from the 1st and 4th centuries
A.D.The works to carry out during this summer will consist in excavating the
areas which are adjacent to the old exhumed remains. This will allow us to
explain the area.To carry out this work you will be provided with the necessary
tools (pickaxes, shovels, etc.) and the help of a mechanical means to transport
the land and rubbish to the town dumps. Another goal of this work camp is to provide
the participants with basic knowledge about the Harris method of excavation
which will be used to carry out this
work. LEADERSHIP.- The team responsible for the camp will be formed by
entertaining professionals under the responsibility of Institut Valencià de la
Joventut, who will live together and participate in the work camp, and whose
methodology of work will be based on the participation, autonomy and the
personal responsibility of the
participants. FREE TIME.- The entertaining team will suggest several
activities related to the
characteristics of the area, and those of the
participants, so that the group can spend their free time after work. Through these concrete activities and
the ones suggested by the volunteers, a
plan of cultural and free time activities will be designed. These activities, which will take place in the
afternoons and at the weekends, will complement the voluntary work.

Participation in “Algarinejo Young Summer 2007” activities. LO: Algarinejo is a
town located in the region of the
‘Montes Occidentales’ in the province of Granada, 75 km away from said
capital. Half of its population, estimated at more than 5000 inhabitants, lives
in the countryside or the villages of Fuente
de Cesna and Carrera de la Viña. The entire municipality offers great potential for the development of rural
tourism, due to its way of life and geographical location. The area has an
important river system which runs
between abrupt limestone formations and
is of great ecological and scenic interest. It also possesses considerable cultural heritage, since there
are monuments and sites of interest to be found throughout the municipality.
The work will be carried out in Arroyo

LA LLOSA II. WORK:
The project consists of archaeological research of the ancient roman village at
La Llosa. The work will consist of: Cleaning, codifying and making an overview

groups of 5 persons who will follow a rotary system in order to get to know the
different steps of an archaeological process.

The Association Airina
has started their activities in 2003 to support the rural Project in Masia la
Torre, Nogueruelas. During all this time, many environmental, social and
cultural activities have been done; also in the camp place: workshops about
medicine plants, therapy of the laughter, art and nature, cooking bread,
astronomy, etc. Once in a month there
is an activity for the people from the region and also from Valencia City.
During the weekend there will be worksho The place of the Masia la Torre can be
used by social movements from the city as ameeting point as well. W: the volunteers will work in the attic of
the farmhouse to arrange it by using bioclimatic technique. This space will be
for social using, for meetings, seminars,
and for accommodation for the people who are taking part of the
project. Thevolunteers will improve the
condition of some living rooms, will become them in shared rooms and will
install heating system. A: Inside the farmhouse, in rooms, maximum of three
people per room. There is a bath and a sink. The kitchen is like a domestic
one. The food is vegetarian and will be done in the house. Volunteers will help
