Volunteer Voices

I recently completed the Greece Nea Makri June 30 to July 15 work camp. I greatly enjoyed this experience, I made lifelong friends and learned a lot during the camp. During the camp we cleaned the beaches, all the beach goers where very friendly to us and supported what we were doing. We also watched for fires on the fire tower, the area needed this because fires have devastated the community for many years, I felt that the work my group completed benefited the community. I felt that my volunteer group had very special people in it and we all became very good friends and with our camp leader as well. Our camp leader did her best to assure that everyone was having a good time and handled everything very well. This was a experience I will remember for a lifetime and I hope to complete many more volunteer projects.\"
