Volunteer Voices

Volunteering in Greece was life changing. Being immersed in a new environment helped me develop further as am individual. Not only was the volunteer work fun, but it taught me a lot about Greek history. It was also refreshing to experience the foreign cultures of both Greece and my fellow volunteers, whom were all from other countries. Being independent yet having a team to work with was both empowering and humbling. I made lasting friendships, gained experience, and even learned to cook some new cuisines. Volunteering with Volunteers for Peace was the best decision I ever made, and I can\\\'t wait to do it again.\\\"
