Volunteer Voices

We had a fabulous experience with this project. We stayed at the home of our hosts who run a pottery studio in Bangklam. They were wonderful and gracious. We helped to build a house that will become a youth center to promote using local materials and to save the environment. Our group leader and the other volunteers (only 5 of us total) were enthusiastic and interested in both working and cultural exchange. We met with a local community group who welcomed us with open arms and went to the school to discuss our project and to increase local assistance.
