Volunteer Voices

The art festival included local city officials. The non-profit organizers and volunteers believed the work and festival would raise awareness about the refugee population and non-profit organizations in the area; in addition to celebrating the diversity of the people represented form a variety of countries. During the workshops volunteers worked along side refugees staying at the local refugee center (C.A.R). We also had lunch with the refugees at the refugee center daily.”
