Volunteer Voices

After a year long search for a non-profit volunteer organization that I felt that was not in it for the business, but, actually there for the cause I came across VFP. I was thoroughly impressed with their sight which had a wealth of information and various countries with projects needed. I selected Tanzania because it was one of the countries that needed the most volunteers. Every morning @ 8:00 about 30 of us walked about a mile to the childrens school. This was our daily project to repair the school. We removed all the writing on the walls, repaired the wholes and and painted the inside and outside of the school and cleaned it upon our completion. The children were so appreciative and wells mannered loving children who tried to assist us with sanding the walls of the school. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and my work in Tanzania and recommend VFP//Volunteer For Peace. I am planning on continuing my volunteer services with VFP.\"
