Volunteer Voices

I have come back from this trip a different person. I am more independent, conscious of the food I buy and eat, and conscious of the actions I take towards the environment. I drive less, I have started a composite pile at my home, and I have been doing research on places where my family can buy locally. I have even found an organization not too far from my home that is similar to the one I was volunteering with in Switzerland and have called them to ask what I can do to help them! I learned a great deal from the people I was surrounded by, the lifestyle I was consumed in there, and the trip in itself. I even learned a bit of French while I was there! If I could go back and do this trip all over again I definitely would!\"
