Volunteer Voices

The work camp leader and other people at the organization always had our best interests in mind and made sure the volunteers were as comfortable as possible. We had good shower facilities and work conditions. All of the volunteers took turns cooking meals and we went out to dinner a few times. We were always well fed. I met people from all over the world and consider these people to be some great friends that I will keep in touch with for the rest of my life. There were a lot of opportunities to bond with the other volunteers, which is why it was so easy to make friends. I can now say that I have friends from Vietnam, Hong Kong, Russia and many friends from France. I would not change my experiences for the world!
