I loved my experience at the work camp. Even though our accommodations were poor, because we lived like the locals we were better able to absorb Indian culture. More importantly, I felt honored to leave an impact on the children of Kolkata. I came across half of the world to India, hoping to tell the children that there is more than Kolkata and India in the world. I wanted to let them know that by studying hard and receiving better education can they pursue a broader horizon than their own. \"
