Volunteer Voices

I just returned home from my work camp in Bärnau, Germany. It was an amazing three weeks. Our group had 16 people from different countries, such as Turkey, Taiwan, South Korea, Denmark, France, Czech Republic, Ukraine, and Spain. I was the only American. We quickly became friends and referred to ourselves as a family. We worked to create an authentic looking medieval village. Our living conditions were fantastic and our food was good. We took turns cooking food from our home countries. I will definitely be traveling to Europe again!\"
