Volunteer Voices

Though we all came from different backgrounds, everyone seemed to be on the same page at all times and each individual seemed to share the same desire to help and benefit those around us which only increased our productivity. There is so much that I could discuss about my two week volunteer trip to Haiti, but I especially want to thank the country and its people for restoring my hope in humanity. Despite the recent tragedy that took place, there’s a level of joy, generosity and love that engulfs the country and reminds you that, despite the physical destruction and corruption that has gone on, the people of Haiti never quit. For having shown all of this to me first hand, I will forever be grateful to the people of Haiti. Meci Ayiti.\\\\\\\"
