Volunteer Voices

My experience in Tanzania was absolutely amazing and unique. My own work camp consisted of about 15 people, but I also got to live and work with two other work camps that were there at the same time for International Youth Day (which only happens once a year). There were about 40 volunteers total and I was the only person from the United States, which was a great experience in itself. Not only was I experiencing Africa for the first time, but I got to experience it with people from many different cultures. Every conversation was an intense learning experience and, of course, so much fun.\"
